Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading and using YoHu Emulator ("we," "our," or "us"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application.

2. Description of Service

YoHu Emulator is an iOS retro gaming emulator that allows you to play classic console games on your iPhone or iPad. Our app provides features including save states, cheat codes, fast-forward functionality, customizable controls, and external controller support. YoHu Emulator requires you to provide your own legally-owned game files (ROMs).

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

3.1 App Purchase and Subscription

  • YoHu Emulator is available as a paid app on the iOS App Store
  • Subscription options include monthly, annual, and lifetime purchases
  • All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
  • We do not process refunds directly - all refund requests must go through Apple

3.2 Subscription Management

You can manage your subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Auto-renewal can be turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

3.3 Refund Policy

Important: We do not process refunds directly. All purchases are final and processed through Apple's App Store. Any refund requests must be submitted to Apple through their support channels at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund policies apply.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Legal Game Ownership

  • You must legally own any game ROMs you use with YoHu Emulator
  • You are responsible for complying with copyright laws in your jurisdiction
  • You may not use the app for piracy or illegal distribution of copyrighted content

4.2 Single User License

Your subscription is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not share your subscription with others.Family Sharing is not supported. Each user must maintain their own valid subscription.

4.3 Disclaimer of Affiliation

You acknowledge that YoHu Emulator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Nintendo, Sega, Sony, or any other gaming console manufacturers.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use YoHu Emulator to:

  • Play legally-owned retro games on your iOS device
  • Create and manage save states for your games
  • Use built-in features like fast-forward and cheat codes
  • Connect external controllers for enhanced gameplay
  • Customize control layouts and display settings

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use YoHu Emulator with pirated or illegally obtained game ROMs
  • Distribute or share copyrighted game files through our app
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the YoHu Emulator app
  • Use the app for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Circumvent any security features or subscription verification systems
  • Violate any applicable laws, including copyright laws
  • Share your subscription or app purchase with others

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Software

YoHu Emulator, including its code, interface, features, and design, is owned by us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The app is licensed, not sold, to you.

6.2 Game Content

You retain ownership of your game files and save data. We do not claim any rights to the games you play using YoHu Emulator. All game copyrights belong to their respective owners.

6.3 License to Use

Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use YoHu Emulator on your iOS devices in accordance with these terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. Your game files and save data remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

8. Service Availability

8.1 Offline Functionality

YoHu Emulator is designed to work offline once downloaded. Internet connection is only required for subscription verification and downloading updates.

8.2 Updates and Maintenance

We may release updates to improve performance, add features, or ensure compatibility with new iOS versions. Updates are distributed through the App Store. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with or without notice.

9. Disclaimers and Warranties

9.1 "As Is" Provision

YoHu Emulator is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Specific Disclaimers

  • We do not guarantee compatibility with all game ROMs
  • We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption
  • We are not affiliated with any gaming console manufacturers
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have legal rights to use game ROMs
  • Emulation accuracy may vary depending on the game and device
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any cost of substitute goods or services arising from or related to these terms or your use of the service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YoHu Emulator and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of our service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. To cancel your subscription, follow the instructions in Section 3.2.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to premium features immediately, without prior notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity or subscription sharing
  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the app
  • Use the app for illegal purposes

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use premium features will cease immediately. No refunds will be provided for terminated subscriptions. Your local game files and save data will remain on your device.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where our company is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service should first be addressed through our support channels. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration or litigation in accordance with Section 13.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Payment Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and YoHu Emulator regarding your use of the service.
